Congrats! I'm glad a fellow forum member won this. I'm a wee bit jealous! Enjoy.

I don't know if I should just blow it out and listen to it all in one sitting or if I should space it out a little. The curious part of me says to just go for it!

Still trying to get my head around the whole idea of it. I mean, you have the start of the Bunnymen and you've also got this massive project happening on the side. I guess when you're holding a cassette in your hands, it gives it a dated feel but when you listen to the music, it's so very futuristic and timeless (makes Eno look a bit standard). I don't where it all comes from or how someone can make something like this at such a young age. Kind of tripped out by it all.

Not to discredit but also worth a mention, all that talk about Mac's new album is a bit strange. I don't know why they don't put more effort into promoting something like this or Will's other projects. They could maximize his creativity so much more than with Ian's. Maybe it's best it's the way it is though. It's kind of like finding an unknown gem amongst the rocks and stones.

That sounds really cool. Didn't they re-release this on CD a few years back? I've gotta find a copy.

They did, though apparently all seven original tapes are different.

I think I got the W.A.F. CD from Ochre Records direct. Also picked up 'Themes for Grind' at the Bunnymen show in NYC earlier this year. It was on sale at the merch booth.

Used to have most of it on vinyl but it was stolen at work. Had 'Space Age Freak Out' and some of the colored vinyl singles. All went in one go unfortunately.
