The Church (Winter Tour, 2011...)

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

Updated Tour Schedule:

It looks like Greenville, NC & the Syndey Opera House date were "new".

Anybody here going? If so, which show?
I have to say too, their new website is very spiffy.

Have fun at the show! I was suffering from the flu when they were in my neck of the woods and missed them. I would love to hear your report!

And welcome to VT!

Great show in Alexandria, VA on Sunday night. I only got there about 30 minutes before the start time, but I still had a pretty good view from the back.

The band sounded incredible. Everyone was firing on all cylinders, and they had an extra person on keys and guitar that really helped fill out the sound. All the records sounded great live. I'm sure most of you have the older ones, but Untitled #23 is also excellent.

I bought way too much merch after the show but it was a great night, go see The Church live if they hit your area

I have #23 and agree. It is good enough to hold its own against Starfish making a good case to tour doing both albums. A good attempt at showing they are still making music to older and younger fans alike.

Anymore details about the show?

I take it this the show?
They treat Milky Way with more respect then they did when I saw them last year.

A great show with sound and lighting spot on.The Church even brought the guy from America that did the sound in the States to do these shows and the tour.
Two days before this I traveled north to see the Church perform in acoustic mode
Dos Momentos Especiales which was them performing their acoustic albums
El Momento Descuidado & El Momento Siguiente in their entirety.
So on this tour they are playing well over 5 albums worth of songs lots of words and music to remember.
Both shows just great would go again to see,as it was that good.
