Stones Roses Reform

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

Tis true. I also wonder whether legally Paypal and e-bay would allow such large transactions to take place (even if they would get massive chunk of the eventual amount). Actually, when you click on those links now they flash up briefly as £620 winning bids so maybe it was nonsense afterall and was being manipulated. There's also several people complaining on the sellers' feedback now.

There is one person with two tickets at £820 bid at the moment. One thousand quid tops seems to be the highest actual amounts being bidded for two tickets so those previous ones must have been scams.

Explains what was probably going on - the bids were real, they just weren't serious.

I saw them doing a press conference the other night - they looked REALLY old - it made me feel fucking ancient!

A world tour?
Saw them the last and only time they made it down this way in '95 and they soon broke up after this. Also seen Ian Brown a few times. The voice- well he certainly doesn't use autotune so you know no miming .

Well Im a huge Stone Roses fan and was there when they mattered and meant everything. They were a social and musical phenomenon in their day and influenced so many people.Unfortunately by teh time they got to Ally Pally size venues the limitations of Browns voice, masked in a hot sweaty club were showing through.

It's only dodgy video footage, but apart from looking like one of those ape lords from Planet of the Apes, the vocals.... eew... Never liked The Stone Roses - only thing I thank them for is pulling out of Glastonbury in 1995 and seeing the band I was a huge fan of at the time doing a stomping set instead.

In my experience, a lot of these online ticket things release a certain amount that are then detailed as sold out. In the afternoon, more are released and so on. Think it's partly to stop their websites becoming overloaded. Besides, I would have thought it would be physically impossible to sell and take transactions online for what 75,000 tickets in 15 minutes.

You done well, given some of the silly prices that touts are trying to shift them for now.
