A great, great track.

Amazing. The drums and bass and Mac singing to the rhythm.

Rust [and since people have made some specifications - *not* the single/radio version, it took me ages to realise what was missing - a whole verse and a bridge.

]
Editing to mention Bedbugs And Ballyhoo - I have many favourites, but it's definitely somewhere at the top of my list.

A promise
with a hip
rescue
the cutter
my white devil
clay
lips like sugar
bring on the dancing horses
gone gone gone
i'll fly tonight
over the wall
what are you going to do with your life
thorn of crowns
nocturnal me
killing moon
seven seas
ocean rain

Hiya - first post. Not many of my favourite bands have managed four ten out of ten albums in a row so naming one track is a tough one. Don't know enough about the post-Ocean Rain stuff to pick one from the last two and a half decades (woops) although there have been a load of good songs.
I'll go for Show Of Strength as it still sounds fantastic and was side one, track one of the first Bunnymen LP I ever bought. I think I'd only ever heard A Promise before then.

This thread should have started and ended with The Killing Moon.
All Night version of course.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

I can't decide which I like better to be my "greatest Bunnymen song ever", so I am going to cheat and pick two:
Gods Will Be Gods and With a Hip....
The Killing Moon will never make my list

possibly true but the only other thread on this side with as many replies is the glasgow one. Just shows, the old failthful topics still popular. I talk bollocks some of the time though. In the killing moon world all night version by far the best. Other than that, zimbo & my kingdom and my white devil. . and that funny one off the fountain whose name escapes me, lol. and... tee hee.
