Before anybody else asks - have already agree to send them out, probably tomorrow - so they have or are about to be gone, gone, gone.

Will you be revealing the identity of the scrounger?

No... not really a scrounger as such as I am giving the damn things away free. Perhaps I should have charged - could start another business scam there, signed Mac rolled up towel, signed Mac cigarette dogend, electric fan purported to be the one used for the 2008 Ocean Rain gigs, a broken guitar string "off Will Sergeant's guitar", an envelope containing pubic hairs with a.... ahem... "signed certificate of authenticity". The possibilities and a long line of suckers, I mean customers, are endless.

This is from the grateful recipient of my other ticket:

McCulloch totally pissed, ranting incoherently for most of the night. Appeared to break down in tears at one point, tried to pick a fight with a fan, tried to start an argument with Will Sergeant, couldn't finish the set and therefore, criminally for a night billed as "Ocean Rain Live", didn't actually play Ocean Rain!

There were a few half-decent moments earlier on, when he was still just drunk (as opposed to completely plastered), but overall it was tragic.

A few other reviews for your amusement:

On the upside, it was certainly a unique experience and a talking point!

My holiday reading included a decent biog of Stuart Adamson, another 'tortured soul'(RIP). Interview from 1984- 'there are only 4 rock bands in the world today-us, U2, Simple Minds and EATB'. Prompted about The Smiths, he says ' I feel for Johnny Marr as a guitar player, cos I know what its like to be in a band where the singer makes a prat of it'. interviewer says 'that's unfair, Morrissey's a great writer'. Adamson replies 'Aye, so was Jobson'...reckon you could easily swap out the names Marr and Morrissey and stick in Sergeant and Mcculloch
