two days on I still can't believe the chaos and the ontstage meltdown...def more exciting than your average Bloc Party gig that's for sure.....it'll no doubt feature in a 'gigs you should have been at' article in some wanky music magazine in a few years time that will add too much gloss to what actually happened......

typical of Mac to play a blinder at York though......

Tempting to follow that request, but it's still useful for a chuckle.

Will be selling (or maybe giving away) some of my Bunnymen stuff. Will almost certainly get rid of is the original Avalanche CD, It's Alright CDs, battered copy of Crystal Days CD booklet plus copies of Stormy Weather and Siberia both signed by both Mac and Mr Sergeant. Everything else could probably be dumped anyway as they aren't exactly in mint condition, but will not get shot of the Crocs, HUH, Porcupine or Ocean Rain remasters.

Some of those recent "gems" supposedly fetched good english money once, but doubt they will now, so. What to do?

Ah ok. Cheers.

One of the comments mentioned there had been about 200 deletions previously and they expected that their comment would be deleted shortly.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

Just read the daily record article and now I feel kinda bad for Mac.

Where did I go wrong?

Depends on your definition of delivering the goods.

Seriously, if anybody in the UK wants a FREE signed copy of Stormy Weather and/or signed copy of the Japanese import of Siberia, and assuming P&P ain't gonna be expensive then they can have them...

I hate to say "I told you so" but...

"I told you so".

Mac has been a prick for years.
Mr. Brian, I find that offensive.

Scouser's inability to se others' point of view is rather grating.

Back in 1995 or 96 at an Electrafixion gig in Toronto. He's started giving me this really weird stare like he wanted to fight me. It was really strange. There was only about fifty people at the gig at that point.
Now ask yourself. How many rock stars are willing to make eye contact and challenge fans? He's one of a kind that's for sure.
Part of the reason why we're fans is cause the bunnymen saga is sort of a rough one. He's having some kind of breakdown from the sounds of it's and has been quick to apologize which not alot of people do for legal reasons these days.

Wow ... thanks for posting. I thought I'd seen it all at that disastrous Anaheim show in May, but this one takes the (chocolate) cake.

Personal crisis ... Baby Mama? Or are they still even together?
