Glasgow = Carnage...!!!!

General discussion about the band, live shows, its recordings or bootlegs, etc. You can buy, sell or trade here. You can even post eBay links. If it's about the Bunnymen, it goes here.

What's even sadder is that aside from the Facebook stuff and someone's blog, I don't see a single mention of this on any news site. What's the expression? The only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about.

Who are we talking about?
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

Bill Drummond predicted this sort of ending for the Bunnymen - its to do with the lay lines between Liverpool and Iceland apparently...

Did those Bill Drummond/Pete Doherty rumors turn out to be false? I never hoped for something to be more true than that. Moreso than Bigfoot and the Loch Ness Monster combined.

Just been on their FB page and saw no comments about Glasgow. Am I too unfamiliar with FB or have they been removed?
Every word is like an unnecessary stain on silence and nothingness.

Actually it kinda sounds more more entertaining then your typical good gig wouldn't you say? Obviously Mac needs to get some things sorted out though.

At least there is an apology, of sorts....'personal crisis', 'tortured genius', 'birthday cake'.....? where will it all end. Perhaps it should now.

Ian's pal, Scots songwriter John McLaughlin, who produced his album The Fountain, said: "Ian is having a personal crisis"He is one of the greatest singers I have ever worked with and is a tortured genius..

hmm. says it all. kiss arse. wonder if he'll be playing guitar when 'he' goes back with 'his' band.

note to Mr McCulloch:
easy to blame it on everything and everyone , but yourself ...Lot's of people have crisis in their life and most don't have the platform you have to exercise your ghosts through lyrics and music nor have the same privelages or ideals in life to be working in a job for 1 and 2 to working in a job you love and be paid well for it....
Stop using excuses to act like a Diva and deliver a poor quality service to the fans who have supported and doted over you in the past 30 years....

That's sort of the way I saw it, been to hundreds of gigs where the band come out and play, tell the audience they've been great then leave. This one will stick in the memory a bit longer.

yeah, train wrecks stick around in the mind a bit longer than those boring ones that stay on the tracks and deliver the goods.

its common for us all to assume will's a champion bloke and everything is mac's fault - which you know, could be wrong. But if mac still surrounds himself with yes men like mcgloughlin, i suppose all we've got to look forward to is the fountain 2. Mr brian please delete my entire bunnymen collection along with my account.
