I wish he had said "f*cked out the ass" or whatever that Turgot saying is.

Funny you say that; I have been eating low-carb for a few months now and have actually had dreams about eating chocolate cake.

I Mac's defense I think he's really upset his birthday cake read "Hapy birfday Ian Macullock"

It's easier to blame the chocolate cake
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

Doubtful. I've been given to understand that Mac and the band give ZERO weight to spelling and consider concerns about such matters to be a frivolous waste of time.

Normally I would agree but the rumor is they spelled Noel Burke's name correctly on his cake.

I'll go get an "oops we forgot your birthday" card and pass it around for everyone to sign.

I just hope Ian is/will be well. I'm still reading this thread, but we don't know what caused it, do we? Real life is more important than performing to fans, at the end of the day, and he seemed to react to something that had happened.

Whilst I feel sorry for Mac, we of course do not know what news he recieved
or how bad it was, but I feel that if you are unable to continue performing
either apologise in person, or deal with it after the show.

I also feel that anyone berating anyone, no matter who they are, should be ashamed
of themselves.

The management should say something, we of course are all fans of the band, and it's
a little tragic to see them disintergrate like this. Most of all feel bad for the wonderful Cairns girls, and Will, who's put up with a lot through the years. everyone needs to give Mac a kick up the arse. Maybe he needs some positivity back in his life?

While I would like to have some compassion for whatever Mac is going through, he was there to perform to a group of people who shelled out lots of their hard-earned money to see him. What he did was completely unprofessional--if he was in that much distress, he should have canceled the show and rescheduled, or at the very least, offered refunds.

I'm sure we'll find out more on that pretty soon.
London gig was a bit odd too. Told a few to shut the fuck
up during Ocean Rain.
