ive been fallowing the bunnymen from the beginning. first saw the at the hotel international in grangemouth . and the pitencrieff park Dunfermline and numerious gigs after that then i kinda fell away after that but recently got back into them , i even went to the 02 carling gig in glasgow when we had the bad snow , took me over an hour to get 25miles . but never have i saw him like last night . he was clearly drunk when he came on stage but got through the first set but was still drinking through out . second set kicked off , and so did he . he was upset about something to do with a birthday cake . he made racsits remarks about geordies and polish people . and everybody was a knobhead he was heckled by some chap in the crowd and started to pick on stage staff ,.sound, lighting , and then stormed off stage . he came back on said sorry and started to sing but clearly he was to drunk and got heckled again then stormed off again , seemingly its not the first time he has done this . time to call it a day mac . will sargent doesnt deserve that . oh wonder what jimmy out of glasvagas who was there thought of his antics .

I'm think Jimmy oot of glasgvegas is too busy thinking he's joe strummer to notice

mac was a shambles and I think I'm right in saying that all he had to play to round off the night was Ocean Rain......imagine if you'd travelled to the gig just to see that.....the hits set was pretty good, even the newer stuff like Rust but the Ocean Rain part was a real let down

saw them at the Queens Hall in Edinburgh about 3 years ago and they were tip-top and Mac's voice was superb that night

I'm on holiday so missed all the fun- my brother was the 'lucky' recipient of my tkt and emailed me this:

Sounds like an onstage car crash!

My bro's review of the evening- I've not had the money off him yet for the tkt- bastard!!

I was quite enjoying it even with all the agro but the banter got well out of hand and then there was all sorts of stuff being shouted and he was stopping songs mid songs bit like Morrison, he was clearly blootered and coked out his mind and at one point it was like he was having a breakdown on stage, crying and everything, bit mental!! there timing for songs was well off!!

The shaming of Gordy in Birmingham on Sunday was probably the most embarassing thing Ive ever seen on a professional stage by Mac and christ Ive seen a few!Sounds like this was crazy though.Throughout the show Will seemed detached and the band just...well..weird.

Started out as a great gig, but towards the end of the first set i could sense something wasn't right... Downhill from there as people have said. I just felt embarrassed for him to be honest, pretty saddening to watch one of favourite singers act like that. All i can say is i really felt for the guys and the girls in the string section. Much kudos and respect to Will for being cool and professional, i felt like i got a glimpse into what he's put up with for 30 years...

Unfortunately those of us who love chocolate cake have become far too accustomed to Mac's verbal abuse. I for one say it needs to stop or the Bunnymen need to call it a day.

Who doesn't like chocolate cake?
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

Can't beat chocolate cake. Don't understand Mac or Kounelaki for not liking chocolate cake. That's mad.

I see where Mac was coming from on the candles though. They taste all waxy and really ruin a good chocolate cake once they melt. Wonder if Mac is more of a victoria sponge man or maybe he likes Battenburg or a slice of nice lemon drizzle cake.

Then he should not have written a song called Candleland.

Anyone who doesn't like chocolate cake is dead to me as surely as if you'd been kneecapped in the head.
