Disney/ Nick teen shows...

.....make me want to disconnect my cable. While away on vacation in the Adirondacks our lodging of choice, a very small cottage with one bathroom for 7 of us to share btw, had a microscopic box tv mounted into a corner near the ceiling. What did my kids have on during the week? "Shake It Up", "A.N.T. Farm" and "Victorious" (which I can tolerate ONLY because I love that kid who is a total geek and the future Jeff Dunham). But a woman can only take it for so long. So after I get home, I watch last week's episode of "True Blood", catch up on some "Billy the Exterminator", and fast forward through a lot of the boring stuff on "Ghost Catchers" which I love even though I don't believe in ghosts. Also I threw in an episode of "Curb Your Enthusiasm" just because I personally feel it is the best show on tv.

Victorious isn't so bad. iCarly is also tolerable and even funny.

I feel your pain.

With two grand-daughters (9 and 11) Disney is on more than anything else in the house.

Disney XD is a new one for us since Mr.WC got the extended cable channels.

iCarley is fun, but I don't give it that much attention.

My kids watch these shows and I rarely witness them laughing at all while the onslaught of one liners and ensuing laugh track noises chug along. Horrible. I guess I watched shit like Gomer Pyle and Bewitched in my day though.

Luckily, I just have to put up with Invader Zim reruns and World of Warcraft. Yes, my daughter is a bit of a geek, but she's proud of it.

I like to have impure thoughts about the various actresses in these shows.
The Victorious girl's sister on the show is pretty hot, as is the red-head friend. Also Sam on iCarly.

I kind of like those girls from that Nickelodean Fresh Beat Band thing although I'm guessing they don't really know how to play their instruments.

Looking back...shouldn't the colored fellow be the one scratching?

The guitar playing chick is making a fair left hand barred e chord shape so maybe she knows what she's doing. People just miming tend not to do that.
