Same here, still waiting for the Philharmonic (VIPs ) though I've got a sneaking suspicion that they will be hand-delivered by band members?

Hi - brand new to this site, but been a bunnymen fan for years ... since the Shine so Hard EP.

FIrst saw them live in early '80s ... think it was the tour after Shine so Hard (Wild Swans were support). Saw a load of times after that up until mid-late '90s.

In 1998 I moved from Liverpool to Ireland & have not seen them live since.

I'm excited as I am now goign to the show in Dublinb on Sept 23rd.

Can anyone tell me what the set list is for the gig? Do they only do Ocen Rain or do they do other stuff as well?

Thx

Welcome aboard. The Ocean Rain shows are usually the album as the first set with strings followed by a second set of selected Bunnymen. Haven't been to the Ocean Rain show since 2008, looking forward to Liverpool at the end of next month. Have you been to any of the recent Wild Swans shows?

I didnt even know the Wild Swans were back until I checked after reading your reply .. I'm a bit out of touch out here in the sticks :)

The last & only time I saw them was that first bunnymen gig; on the back of that I bought a 12" single of theirs with Revolutionary Spirit & God Forbid .. just dug it out & blew off the dust to remind myself :)

That gig was also the only time I saw the bunnymen play "The Disease" live ... haunting & awesome & I never understood why they didnt have it in their live shows after that.

We haven't had Simple Stuff since the last time Morrissey had a bacon butty.

The Disease turned up around 2005 on the back of their "Siberia" support shows.
though Mac started playing it again solo around 2003.
