to get back to the topic at hand ...

I love the old stuff. That's what I listen to when I listen to the Bunnymen. I'm missing a couple of their post-reunion albums, and that's OK, because I don't really listen to the ones I have all that much anyway. Same with Buzzcocks and the NY Dolls. I'll probably buy the Bunnymen's next album, but if it's dull, it'll just end up in the CD pile.

I'll always love the Bunnymen, but ...

Right now, I've got a lot more enthusiasm for the reunited Jesus and Mary Chain. I like "All Things Must Pass" and I'm curious to see what else they've got up their sleeves. Plus, the brothers Reid seem to care, and their current band is pretty good and doesn't seem to be just a bunch of hired hands. I'll definitely be buying their new CD.

I was kinda lukewarm about them bringing Scarlett Johansen on stage to sing but I still listen to all the JAMC albums especially The Sound of Speed.

I would be cool with the Bunnymen stealing a little bit of the JAMC's noise. Something to roughen up the edges.

I didn't know huge cocks were ever off topic.

There not - Mac is the biggest cock of all
Mr. Brian, I find that offensive.

Scouser's inability to se others' point of view is rather grating.

oh, they're never off topic. I was just doing a Mr. Brian

yeah, I could've done without ol' scarlett's "singing," but the version I've heard, you can barely hear her. whether from fright or the mixing, I dunno.

I'd go for almost anything that would inject some life into Mac & Co. going thru the motions is just not satisfying.

I'd love to see this topic on the official forum. Not that I would as it would have been pulled in 30 secs flat...

Everything about the band (I am not privy to the anbatomy of Jack's mother) is dead on. Including the fact this topic would be crushed and wiped off the table like a grape on the other forum.

When the next U.S. tour comes, I'll mainly be going to the shows just to see the forum members and have some drinks.

Mac has a phenomenal band behind him but it's a sad fact that whether the shows are any good is entirely up to him alone because he's the frontman.

Whenever someone's marriage ends, their lyrics become really sappy. Somehow the lyrics are better when they sing about girlfriends that hurt them
I don't like "Stormy Weather"

but that's why this is the anti-forum, where democracy reigns and no topic is off limits. this forum's way more fun than the official one. like smoking in the boys room during class

Looking forward to the pre-show confab next time the bunnyboys hop into town. wonder when that'll be?

To be Honest the bunnys are boring and predicatable.

The old days were the best they had an edge and were ambigious

But they were young pretenders to the throne and uncompronising

But at the end of the day its a job

Are you really passionate about the way you earn your cash

My obsssion with the bunnys is like mac coke habbit hard to break

But saying that I very rarly listen to them these days

Life is to short and theres too many other things to do

I've been thinking about it and now I blame WILL. I would have lived the rest of my life comfortably had Electrafixion carried on but he had to push Mac into reforming the Bunnymen.

I was just listening to Sister Pain and Time Bomb. Good shit.

I wonder how this forum would be different if it were for Bunnymen haters instead of fans.
