Celine Dion is rock and roll.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

i wish i could sing as well as i didn't 30 years ago! :p]

on the subject of mac's voice... i'm no fan of mac's solo stuff and gigs but his recent union chapel sounded pretty good [i only have a bootleg of this as reference] and 'dancing horses' sounded great solo with the string quartet.

Why should I be happy 50% of the original Bunnymen are "going on" (i.e treading water)? They are all "going on" doing chicken in the basket sets for jaded 40somethings desperate to hang onto their youth - what sets the modern incarnation of the Bunnymen apart from The Alarm? Nothing. Yet in their heyday they would piss all over The Alarm.

Its sad fucks like you that keep reanimating the corpse and won't let them slip away with abit of dignity intact.

Sir? haha can a girl be knighted? that would rock.

'scouser' - what a disgrace to liverpool. nevermind the forum.

you leave ivan out of this, or we'll be made to suffer another of his 'faggoty' insults again.

yeah, i see what you're saying on the in tune/ropey bits. there are some in the recording but i still think you'll have that live. if you go back to the rockpalast, shine, etc, there are a few spots that go weird too. not many, some on purpose (?) - don't know, but they're there.

Mr. Brian, I find that offensive.

Scouser's inability to se others' point of view is rather grating.

can anyone confirm whether the Latitude gig is Crocodiles & Heaven Up Here? If so, why is this when all the others are 'normal' gigs. (or are the others Ocean Rain?)

thanks

yep I know and thats why i dont go searching or collecting these bits and pieces from the past - amd why most bands (inc the buns) do overdubs on live albums. alot of this is good but it'll be on the pile soon never to be played again. back to what bf said - was i at that gig? well no, i was at a couple of other but the whole thing about the live tjhig its there and its gone

i was at the 12/11/11 show and none of the dodgy parts really stood out live. having said that, i do appreciate mgmt not covering up the rough spots on the CD. it's not 30 years ago, it's not the original version, it is what it is really.

To be fair Dave it's only Scouser who takes you to task for still loving the band (what the hell are you thinking??) though he does have the forum posting strength of three men.

Lounge on the Farm on Sunday was not Crocs/HUH and was mainly the well known stuff which is good for a festival crowd.... and they played Over the Wall really early in the set
surprisingly..... it was a good set and good crowd reaction....... great little festival too.

Do you mean the one with BF's 1970s windows? Now that was a classic thread.
