Someone please tell me I am not the only one who's all giddy that this series will start up again in a few weeks! I don't watch a lot of tv, but everything else be damned when my "TB" is on.

I wish I were waiting with bated breath--I read all the Sookie Stackhouse novels and LOVED the first season, but with the exception of Russell Edgington's completely awesome scene last season, I was underwhelmed at the last two seasons. The series seems to be meandering pretty far from the books on which it's based. I'm wondering how they'll pick up future story threads after TB has diverged so much.

I'll still watch, though...I'm hoping for more ERIC! and less Beeyull this season.

I can't read those Stokie books. Like R.R. Martin and Rowlings, they induce vomit.

But the tv show - yes!!!! I find it to be the ultimate brain candy. Actually, since no real cerebellum usage is required it is more like medulla candy.
