I went to see "The Eye" today. There's some pretty creepy scenes. All relate to our ( the forum members) experiences that we shared here
I felt like BF was the consultant on the movie when it came to the silhouetted guys!

as long as he wasn't holding a sythe.......

that's a creepy story, black francis!

Not as creepy as the "Rat Thing" you described. Your story reminds me of the Bell Witch cave and legend in Tennessee I think.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

Had I been a consultant Jessica Alba would have multiple nude shower scenes.

Very tastefully done of course and in no way gratuitous or exploitive.

What "rat thing"? You mean the Jersey Devil?

Did you see the movie? I thought of you when the hooded silhouette guy was standing in the hallway. I thought of Chez when the man was floating behind her in the elevator.

She is very pretty.

The movie would still tank. She is box office poison.

Not being able to act has that effect on movies and their box office take.

Has he ever gotten any acting award nominations? I don't seem to recall any.

Are they a measure of talent?

No, but the girl in "Juno" did. I could never understand why he was, and still is a box office draw.

me neither. he's not getting a penny of my money. nor is mel gibson!

on the other hand, I'm hoping Daniel Day-Lewis wins best actor for his performance in 'there will be blood.' that man's got talent all the way down to his fingertips and toes. Plus he's still hot. not that I'm shallow or anything

I don't agree about Tom Cruise. In my opinion, it's a situation where everyone says he is a bad actor because everyone says he is a bad actor. I find him to be a fairly good actor, actually. His main strength, in my opinion, is the commitment and intensity he is able to bring to roles. Admittedly his range is not tremendous, but it is actually broader than some actors commonly regarded as "great." (i.e. DeNiro, Pacino, etc.)

Mel Gibson is also a fairly good actor.

Every now and then they get it right. I was more interested to know if during a long and fairly varied acting career had he received any nominations. I have never had a problem with Tom Cruise and thought he was hilarious in the Austin Powers cameo.

Sure he seems like a nut job but that doesn't really affect my daily life.
