Foo Fighters

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

They're passing through my town in a few months. I love 'em, and I'm going

Saw them a few years ago. Great show.

Cool that Dave brought in Butch Vig (produced Nevermind) to produce and Krist Novoselic for bass on "I Should Have Known"

Sorry, I'm a Seattle guy. This sort of stuff gives me goosebumps

Pat Smear was the genius behind the foo fighters
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

I disagree. They sound better with him in the mix, but it's Dave Grohl & Taylor Hawkins who provide the framework. The first album is alt-rock gold... and it's all Dave - every instrument, every song (except for a Greg Dulli solo on one track).

I was only kidding. I've never listened to a single album.

Agreed, Cheese...can't see what all the fuss is about.
Mr. Brian, I find that offensive.

Scouser's inability to se others' point of view is rather grating.

saw em at Reading a few years ago. Just like their records - OK but none of it tempted me to go out and buy one of em. Wossname the singer (hardest working man in rock???) nearly caused death and mayhem by walking down to the crowd. naturally there was a bit of a surge and they had to stop for ten minutes while he tried to pursuade everyone to take ten paces backwards in a tone suggesting it wasn't anything to do with him. so he came across (from half a mile away, by the beer tent - no crush there mateys) as a bit of a tosser.

Foo's first time in Buffalo, and they were rockin'. Some band called Rise Against from Chicago opened (didn't care for them much), and a mariachi band played too (decided to skip it so can't comment). A fantastic show.....can't wait to see them again. Took about 30 pics, only about 5 were good :( Grohl moves around too much, so he's obviously not related to Mac.

I have to change the radio station when they come on, so I guess that makes 4 of us? Or 5?
Same goes for Them Crooked Vultures.

Me & Mr. WC went to see 'em in Charlotte, North Carolina for our 31st wedding anniversary.
Dave Grohl is a great entertainer and musician. We had a great time.
