A great gig - I see someone has posted up one of clips (Rescue). I have a few more too - the atmospheric low lighting and my seat just to the side means that Ian is largely invisible but the sound is good. Enjoy. As others have said his voice was on top form.

Looking forward to the Palladium gig.

That was actually pretty funny.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

Bit late chiming in here but I'm so glad I took Dave Smith's advice and headed to the concert despite my apprehension. WHAT A GIG!!!
"THe BUB" was nowhere to be seen. Mac was very funny (the bits I could understand)* and his voice was really perfect. Not a bum note. Was thrilled he played Zimbo. Seeing Ian Broudie on stage was fantastic. As far as I was concerned he could have played all night. My faith is once again restored.

* Why TF do people go to gigs to talk all the way through them???? I got to the venue just before Mac came on stage and by that time there was no more seating downstairs. The door to the upstairs area was going throughout the whole gig, people letting it slam loudly behind them and then asking in loud voices where the bar was. A stupid ignorant couple stood behind me and kept commenting on the fact that his accent wasn't understandable. Well nobody else had a chance of what he was saying either with those two whittering away. They chatted throughout RUst People kept getting up and stomping out and coming back in again - bloody children. If there'd been trouble from the stage, I'd have said, "bring it!". Those sad bastards deserved a bit of abuse.
Every word is like an unnecessary stain on silence and nothingness.

unfortunately a world wide problem.Time and motion studies i seem to remember a study recon that we spent a total of 11 minutes a day talking SO - WTF do it and more as soon any any band and especially the supports start up.Fark
The problem with self improvement is knowing when to quit.
