Looking at the up coming UK festivals for summer and this bill looks pretty good.
I reckon EATB should be on it especially with Lou Reed on the bill.

I hope the ridiculous teenage rivalry with Morrissey wouldn't stop them wanting to be on it.

Patti Smith, Iggy Pop Lou Reed and EATB on the same bill would be fantastic.

Had a crush on Patti Smith back in the days of youth and no man boobs.

Just found out today that the Bunnymen are playing at a new festival on Chester Racecourse with Iggy and the Stooges and The Lightning Seeds, only an hour's drive away as well.

That would be my man boobs that are now starting to greet me - sad but true.

Another good reason to not have intimate relations with young women as young as your daughter.

Fear of ridicule from the young Missus for natures inevitable decline.

As well as fear of ridicule from the ex and my children for being in a relationship with the young Missus in the first place.

You can't win in that scenario.

I don't comb my thinning hair over the protruding bald spot though.

Welcome friend!

Cheers BF

No swept back hair into the old man pony tail for me.

Nor a can of hair spray and back comb trying to recapture my once crowning glory in the 80s.

Should we discuss the Dave Matthews?

I think this is an excellent time for a refresher on the Dave Mathhews.

Hi
We are Big Green Coach, supplying official coach travel to Hop Farm and Lounge On The Farm 2011.

We would like to let you know, that we still have spaces on all variations of ticket and travel packages for both festivals...grab your chance to see Echo & The Bunnymen...in the flesh!

A few quick bullet points about our service:

1. We offer ticket and travel packages that will be picking-up for Hop Farm from London Kings Cross, London Waterloo and Brighton, straight to the heart of the Hop Farm.
Full details here: http://www.biggreencoach.co.uk/hopfarm

We also have ticket and travel packages for Lounge On The Farm, picking up from London Victoria straight to the event.
Full details here: http://www.biggreencoach.co.uk/lounge

2. Coach travel is the most environmentally friendly way to travel to the festival (if you ignore bike riding and walking that is!)

3. For each full coach we bring to the festival, we will plant two trees to help make the world a nicer place to be. Thanks to this commitment, Big Green Coach planted 307 trees in early 2011 (from 2010 journeys) and we aim to double this in 2012. Thank you to all of our customers who helped us reach this total.

We will keep you updated here and on our Facebook Group http://www.facebook.com/biggreencoachuk

We would like this thread to become a ‘virtual customer service centre’ to offer advice on any questions that you may have about the Big Green Coach services.
So don’t be shy, shout up and ask your questions!

We look forward to seeing all you Echo & The Bunnymen fans during summer 2011!

The Big Green Team

You are very kind. Do we all get free tickets and travel or just a select few?

Thought I saw the word "Fleshlight" in amongst that blurb. It wasn't, something about grabbing the chance to see the Bunnymen in the flesh. See them live? Isn't that what most of us on here have done for decades? Some too much. Some no more. Some even before the dawn of time itself.

I'm intrigued by this Big Green Coach, I'm certain his brother used to sell sweetcorn .
