Beady Eye - Different Gear, Still Speeding

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

Anybody listen to the Noel-less Oasis yet?

I heard a track or two. It sounds like... erm... exactly that... a Noel-less Oasis, or the Beatles again.

Sounds good.
Bring The Light is a minute longer than it needs to be.
Was tired of Noel's voice.

I have to say I much prefer them to most of the Oasis stuff. Managed to get the first three numbered singles which are worth about £20 - £30 each already.

Indeed. I have to admit to not ever being a huge Oasis fan--I always found Mr. Gallagher's voice a little whiny. My apologies to those Oasis fans I have offended.

Never been a big fan of Oasis apart from a few songs and always thought Liam a bit of a pratt but I really like the new band, not so sure about the name though

Let's look at world of music according to mrsmac:

It's a real challenge to come up with an original name. I've been thinking of band names lately because some friends of mine are convinced I'd make a good singer for "our" new band (ha ha HA!!!!). I have googled several names, and lo and behold, every single last one of them is taken.

Perhaps ex-Oasis met the same fate.

Two band names which have been discussed on this very forum (and which may still be available) are Origami Penis Theory and Mexico Dynamite Truck Explosion.
