In actual fact it was re-built in the 50's and 60's. A certain Mr A Hitler tried to raise the city to the ground as Liverpool was the main Atlantic Port for food supplies, raw materials and weapons and destination of the Atlantic Convoys. Liverpool was the second most bombed UK city after London.

When you think of all the wailing and crying the Yanks make out of a couple of planes flying into a load of bankers it sort of puts it into perspective. Thousands were dying every night in 1941 (mostly women and children) and the likes of Coventry was literally flattened.

So there is no absolutely no excuse for BF's windows.

(please insert paragraph about the Yanks saving our limey asses and we would all be talking German blah blah blah)
