The Cure

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

The Cure

Anyone else have "Fire in Cairo" stuck in your head the last couple of days?
D'ya wanna know what's wrong with the world?
Everywhere there's people with no flowers in their hair...

A good song, but no.

Though I do have In Your House and A Strange Day as my two
favourites at the moment,

class band Robert Smith's The Cure, terrible drummer, bad ass guitarist,
and Simon Gallup!!

C'magnifique!

one heck of a song there,
class live album as well, from the Show/Paris set from 93
i believe. One was crowd pleasers and Wish stuff, and the
other was cult classics.

A night like this is a good un, love The Head on the Door Album, favourite album
after Heaven Up Here.

Best version of the cure by a mile.

Amen to that, even the supposed fillers are better than most bands
singles, The Blood, Baby Screams and Sinking are even better than In Between
Days and Close To Me, which i reckon is the weakest song out of the lot.

The Deluxe edition is well worth getting, especially for the RS Demos at the start of
the second disc, a marked improvement on the manure that is The Top

Do you have XM/Sirius radio? On 1st Wave 44 or Sirius 21, they seemingly play all types of Cure songs. Someone has a passion for them there. Just yesterday, I heard "Push" 3 times. Great track though.

Nah haven't listened to that yet, but a good place to go
for any updates and cure stuff is Chain of Flowers, Craig J Parker's blog's
the place to go.

You can even forgive them for 4:13 Dream, but not Jason Cooper's Drumming
or RS's Idea of back to basics no keyboard player band.

As an album it rivals a singles collection, including those.

Galore doesn't count as it has the tripe from
Wild Mood Sings, where the only good song is Want,
and then, haha ironically, your left wanting more.

This was also the period where Bobbo went from Fat yet
handsome, to fat and weird.

What a perfect song, Just Like Heaven, one of the few songs that
transcend normal human experiences.

The Kiss is fantastic, also like Shiver and Shake for the sheer anger evoked
out of the Guitars, B-sides not too shabby either.
