Learn to play Crocodiles and Heaven Up Here

Postby crystal89 » Fri Jan 28, 2011 7:50 am

Here's a thought, rather than the standard, DVD/CD combo,
already got the Oxford Boot, and a DVD with a blank screen
wouldn't make much difference compared to a filmed
gig from the shows, why not a tab book for all the instruments?

SO depending on your weapon of choice you could play Zimbo like Pete,
perfect the bassline from ALL that Jazz, learn to sing A Promise, and try
and work out all the guitar parts from Over The Wall.

cheers...

Oh and come back Frank.

Tab and sheet music - and the parts for guitar bass and drums.

Good idea.

I like this idea but it sure would be a lot of work for someone. I'll bet someone like Kelley Stoltz could do it.

The only published music or tab books I know of is one from the Songs To Learn and Sing era and Evergreen. Other than that it's hit or miss stuff on the internet that I've attempted to compile but many of those are not very accurate of course.

Hi, newbie here - this sounds like a great idea -

I'll kick off with a tab for Stormy Weather in a new post.

Well, if it's you on guitar along with the programmed bits, what say you get a tripod or a stack of books to put the camera on and train it on yourself, while the backing track plays. As much as I want to see that you've got a full roll of toilet paper, the video was pretty distracting

I can't quite decide if he's trying to sell his music or his flat?

Do you think it sounds accurate?

That line might work with your Thai ladyboys.

The guitar in the video is good. Is the concept behind the video your head rolling around your apartment?

Some obvious covers

I think I have the bridge chords correct, but you can't hear 'em anyway
