On the morning of christmas eve the news story ran that several train companies are running reduced services to ensure "more of them run on time". Weather seems to catch the powers that be out every year, comes at a different time (before christmas, outrageous), or its a completely different sort of snow to what it usually is. next there'll be the floods I expect and they'll be somewhere slightly different to where they were last year. We'd love to buy your goods mr america but that nice mr osbourne says we haven't any cash. At least not until the studes all start coughing up. And what cash we have we are encouraged to give to charities that are apparently going to be doing much of what the government used to do. The only slightly amusing part is that the lib dem faction of the coallition seem to have been totally shafted but are still smiling cheerily.
