tour ended up - was a blast and a battle the cold was tough for a band of californians. but the gigs were great and the band as usual were very kind to us. not a lot of food given by the promoter to us, so a case of warm grolsch was all we got most nights, but peasy and will et al said our food is yours so we stormed up to their dressing rooms often for carrots and pg tips and after show gins...a nice bunch. saw less of mac this time around assuming he was hanging in the bus as most venues were cold backstage. but he gave the hellos - shared a cigarette break - and asked for my cds off me, which was a real treat... i got to strum the pink tele which was safe aftre some repairs in the van, though it wasnt ever used. and ended up with sarge's army helmet that was perched on his amps during shows...its heavy and will see if i can get through customs. my money is on a usa tour! so everybody should come see it - great songs played well... saw shine so hard and le via luonge on big screen on the 13th at FACT in liverpool - will and director echo lighting dude bill butt did a Q&A and then they showed the 6 tunes from porcupine video as well - will was two seats to my right and 2 rows behind was LES! got to meet him and get a picture together... he hadnt picked up his bass in 10 years prior to the wild swans gigs and was amazed at how fast his old echo parts were...but he had a play along to crocodiles (the song) and said he was back pretty quick at playing for fun... he's doing boats now and seems a happy and very friendly guy. then we went off to the dispensary for a few pints and more chat - i tried had but found two pints and 33 days of touring to get best of me and off to sleep...gave sarge and peasy a hug and im off to california tuesday weather permitting. what a thrill playing under the camo nets in the home country. cheers kelley

Kelly, I really enjoy the sound of your band and believe it complemented the music that followed. I heard people in the audience compare your 5th song in the set, after "Pinecone", to the Bunnymen's Corcodiles (sorry for not yet being familiar with the titles). Ian told me that they would be touring the States in May. I hope EATB signs you up again for that tour too.

Was a pleasure meeting you. And thanks for sharing your experiences on the tour with us here at VT.
