With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

like watching works of art come to life ..

great to hear the LP's played in their entirity .. and the encore was top drawer ..

Mac seemed in a great mood and the band are very tight ..

my son who is 19 came along with me and my other boy who is 6 would have done if he was allowed as he regularly sings along to them ..

i'm intrigued by the way my youngest has picked up on Mac's lyrics .. he loves The Cutter and With a Hip! though i have to be careful he doesn't sing it all to his teacher!

Generations to come will certainly cherish the Bunnymen,
so glad they are still around and seem be reaching new levels with their performances ..

i was lucky enough to witness the rehearsals the previous week but nothing can beat the real thing and i've been heavily into these LP's for the last few years ..

priceless times for which we should all be grateful for ..

imagine being 19 now, what have you got to listen to that could be as good as this?

so then, how'd you get to witness rehearsalls? Dont think you can say that and get away without a couple of anecdotes to ruin our perceptions of the chaps. Or shall I be the first today to do the 'you're not will sergeant are you' gag.

crap factor's a bit in your face but there's loads of stuff about if you can be arsed to look for it, which reminds me we haven't heard from Evils for a while have we? Just a quick look at this list http://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/line-up-poster/, not many of them would get by on the factor I expect. Not much of it I like either but a great deal I've never even heard, but should I venture out of my armchair in the new year, well you never know.

Exactly! Was walking out of X's Christmas show last night and overheard some little hipster teens in front of me: "Who can we go see when we're 40? They'll all be dead!"

.. I have a haircut similar to Will but that's about as close as we get

landed a good role earlier this year which means i look after the IT at the Academy in Liverpool .. do other venues in the North as well though hang out here the most, arrived at work the other week and these lads were fireproofing the stage backdrops so i asked who they were for and then the jaw dropped ..

myself and a work mate were in another room listening to the band play and watching on the CCTV for about 2/3 hours without Mac and then when he showed up later myself we got to go in the main venue to hear "a promise" and "with a hip",
met Peasy and it was a complete honour to be in there,
almost a full stage set up with the smoke machines and leaf netting in effect ..

just seems these days there aren't as many different scenes too choose from, had a lot of choices when i was younger which bands to listen to, now i prefer going back and finding out more about bands i knew of but didn't know too well .. time will only tell what the X Factor generation are left with in the future ..

Can you get McCartney's autograph for me on Monday? Should fetch enough on Ebay to pay for a couple of pints.

I've heard Macca prefers foreign holidays to Scottish ones these days. Apparently he'd choose a week in the sun over a night in the Heather.

She's had to pull out of the next round of the Champions' League because it's over two legs.
