Interpol brixton

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

We passed up a gig of theirs just in November. Brixton though, sounds better.
Saw them twice previously, brill.

I agree with you mostly except on this.
For example, Lights was the best song for me on this tour. What a crescendo...

Yeah Lights was great.Banks suffered with throat trouble in the UK and had sprays onstage for him to use.

But it's true the songs from the last album are less good than Lights (which is one of the best Interpol songs especially live).

Conclusion: a band in transition after Carlos has left and not likely to play much of the last album on the next tour.Keep the faith.

And like EATB, they have not allowed a new member who contributes to the songwriting.

Or is that just standard? Especially amo ng bass players - The Stones, Metallica, EATB, got new bass players that are considered formal members of the band - but no songwriting input (it seems)

What do you call the guy who hangs out with the band?

The bass player.

Carlos left after recording the last album.Mew did the same thing after losing the bassist-the guitar player played it instead in the studio plus hired-hand for live.

I think the importance of a creative bass player is under estimated.

Les, Hook, hmmmm, that's all I got.
