Performance-wise what a fucking great gig.Crowd wise Brum just shaded it-thought crowd a bit quiet during HUH set..But Will and Mac were out of this world.Had to laugh at the curtain incident as well.Before they came on I said "I dont know about a curtain,they need to put the bloody heating on' so not just you DC.Things got messy a bit early in the LIffey pub-£2 a pint of guinness plus I got the new Harry Potter dvd off a chinese bloke for £3 quid!Just put it on and thankfully its not 'Gary Po-her and his 12 inch cock' porn movie.Venue like going back 20 years.Adelphi-what a dump.SAw Gordy leaving late after the gig from there so must be where the band were staying(excl MAc and Will??) plus I was told that Ricky HAtton was there too.Jesus his room must have been better than ours....WEnt in O Neills afterwards-total druken carnage in that part of the city.Great gig,top night.

Then to the Wolves.....great weekend!

What was he singing? Did you give him some spare change?

Did anyone sit at the Olympia gig? I had a standing ticket but I'm sure there was a great view from the top? Venue looked a bit ropey from the outside but inside what a superb place, great setting for this performance. Didn't mind the cold, quite nice being at a gig and not sweating your tits off.

[quote="sharkin"]Hi all,

Kelley Stoltz was the support ....they were dead good (I bought their CD when leaving and it's got some crackin' tunes on it). I think I remember him doing a cover of the 'Crocodiles' album in the past and I heard one or two off that at the time.

Bunnymen were better than I've seen them in a while (it was much better hearing the two albums than their usual december setlist, Mac just got on with it and didn't complain about anything which made a big difference). Great venue as well.

Fernando and Griselda Torres are respected members of the La Puente community. I had Tecates with them last week.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

There's a whole live set of Kelley performing Crockodials (as he called it) still on Youtube. He posts on here from time to time. Excellent new album. To Dreamers.... I'm off on one of my lovefest things again so I'll stop there.

Mate "where?"
Me "right in the middle of where you walk"
Mate "oh yeah"

three seconds later

Me "...there's Les Dennis"
Mate " what a bronze lifesize bust"

Me "no you tit its Les Dennis!"

I preferred Extras to The Office. I couldn't remember that episode's ending when I started watching that clip, but had a feeling it'd go there with that bloody Mavis impression again.
