Several references to the band if anyone missed it.

Well worth watching anyway.

Yes it was. After the character Liam nicked the woman's laptop, he read a letter in word that said that the Bunnymen were her favourite band and she'd seen them play at the Astoria ten years ago. Then in the taxi as part of his stalking effort, Liam played the beginning Bring On the Dancing Horses, which she claimed was her favourite song and he claimed to have seen them at the same venue to show that they were, in his opinion, soul mates.

To quote Turgut, she is not a true Bunnymen fan. For one thing, does a true Bunnymen fan actually have a single favourite song rather than a collection of songs or a specific album? And why, if they were her favourite band, had she not seem them live for ten years, including missing the Ocean Rain gigs just two years ago. Questions questions... I think she should be "the bitch".

It was the Apollo [Manchester] that was mentioned, they played there in 1999.

I was there. Funky part of town... John Simm's former band, Magic Alex, opened, I think.

You are right. It also wasn't her laptop, but a memory stick. Her exact words were "I laughed when I read Echo and the Bunnymen. I saw them play about ten years ago at the Apollo and loved them". 1999 would be about right as he would be standing in the dock one year later in the story I'd assume.

That would be the WAYGTDWYL tour. May 1 1999. I think I only got to see Magic Alex in 2001 as they didn't support the gig on that tour that I went to.
