Do It Clean......?

Postby Grumpy_Jimbo » Mon Dec 06, 2010 3:48 am

Should they be playing it on the current tour, I know it was not on the UK version of Crocodiles but it did appear on the US version plus it was later given away with Crocodiles in the UK...... I'm slightly surprised they are not playing it as I always associate it Crocodiles and that era, also I do enjoy the short version without all the adllbs etc.....

So what does everyone else think...... Or is it only me thats interested ?

You're absolutely right.
They should play it on this tour (and on every tour also, really...).

They could have tried The puppet at least too.

And I wish they do a tour in Europe in 2011 with these 2 albums

I'd much rather hear "Do It Clean" than "Nothing Lasts Forever" and "Lips Like Sugar".

I agree, as we discussed in an earlier thread. If (or rather when) they do the tour in the States, they will have to play Do It Clean and Read It In Books as part of the US release so we'd expected them at least feature in the encore over here. I expected Broke My Neck and maybe Simple Stuff as well. After all, this is Crocs and HUH being performed. Seems they missed an opportunity there as there was no reason for a mini greatest hits set as the encore.

Having said that. Those songs not being done at least give me a reason to make a sharp exit after the two albums have been performed.

What are they doing for encores? It seems like they should at least do it in the encore.

Based on the song selections it would seem the encore is a good time to beat the crowd.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

Although when closing off half the venue it's fair to question what would you deem a crowd.

These are the times when Peter Allen came in handy. He'd be adamant that the venue had sold out, even though half the venue was being closed off. And then he'd make a typo. I miss the little simpleton.

Maybe they're not performing Do It Clean because Ian can't remember the words.
