Tired of discussing the Bunnymen and all the bands that have been influenced by them? This is the place for you.

Let's talk about football this morning, mes amis...

I'm afraid I'm still looking for the english national team... even if I watched the game against the french national team (which was rather good although it is in reconstruction)

Where was England ?
I couldn't see it on the pitch...
To the logical limit

After what we saw in the world cup, England v France is a footballing irrelevance, it's the new Wales v Faroe Islands.

Wales v Faroe Islands? I'd put it as Liechenstein v Faroe Islands. Liechtenstein has the same national anthem tune as well.

Why is England sixth in the FIFA rankings?

Probably based on qualifications performance, which we seem to be good at (other than Euro 2008 and unlike France in recent years, hence why they are 21st joint with the alpine mountain footballing champions Switzerland) and scored the most goals of any European country in the 2010 WC qualifiers when we faced the mighty Andorra, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Ukraine and hammered the world class Croatian team twice. After a rousing win over the world cup winner beaters Switzerland and a win against Bulgaria, the last Euro 2012 qualifier though we struggled in the 0-0 draw against the Balkan world champions Montenegro. Still, the FIFA rankings are bollocks.

To be fair though, last night we missed some key players... Lampard, Ashley Cole, John Terry, Wayne Rooney. Hang on, those donkeys didn't do much in the World Cup either. Shit...

False advertising in the subject heading. I came here looking for a lively debate about Brett Favre and his cock. Imagine my disappointment when I realize this is another thread about soccer.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

We're at the top of the NFC West. At this rate, we'll see the playoffs. Seattle teams have a habit of taking the fans along for a great ride, then dropping us off a cliff just before we reach the top
