Shite, a nice nod to the Heaven Up Here cover is the one bright spot.

If he stretched the Never Stop bit to about 4 minutes, got rid of the bits before and after it, dumped the South Walian moansters and got himself a genius guitarist he might do something.

This just in from the Manics. "Due to popular demand from Voodoo Billy, we reshot the video, giving James Dean Bradfield the camera. We also drafted in legendary Echo & The Bunnymen guitarist Will Sergeant and a bunch of session musicians. So here is the alternative version of Some Kind of Nothingness that will be released on a special edition double A side DVD in December."

Still no Anna Friel in it so it sucks as well. Instead I shot my own video. Couldn't get permission to use Some Kind of Nothingness for the backing track. But I don't care.

Nah, we'd just send you to Australia but seeing you're already there we'll leave it at that.

Update of the show Manics walked on stage to the bunnymens Silver- instrumental version. The said single not a stand out but they placed it between everything must go and you stole the sun-to hide it?.And the walk out music was The Killing Moon.Show was good yes down here but 10+years since been here UK has them pretty much all the time.

What's with all this Bunnymen love fest from the Manic Street Preachers? I know one of them attended a gig in 1985 and they got Mac to sing on a song, but WHY?

Some people just insist on liking the Bunnymen. No one can explain it, really.

Harsh...Oh the humanity.

I will ask, did they happen to mention any insights on Richey Edwards?

To resurrect this thread. Some Kind Of Nothingness missed out on the Top 40 this week, charting at 44. Even though I dislike the song, I cannot understand why that charts at 44 yet probably the most boring Christmas song ever written and a download only, Coldplay's Christmas Lights, has moved up to no 13. Some of that video looks familar...

Seems there's only one way Mac's gonna have a number one. We have to convince him to go on the X Factor. First we need a convincing hard luck life story to go with the performance.

cos coldplay have shedloads of fans who'll buy any old crap they put out, and the manics only have a relative few (who'll buy anything etc etc). Wonder if the manics are ruing the massaging of their fanboy egos by having their pop star friend on their record now that its succumbed to the non-charting curse of the bunnymen?
