I want to build a secret underground bunker.

Substitute beans and mini sausages for alphabet spaghetti shapes with mini sausages adding the possibility of playing scrabble with them to pass the hours, and if you don't have the letters required all you need to do is open another tin.

I feel compelled to mention that typically, underground bunkers are rather small and thus air volumes are low. Beans are known to cause gastrointestinal perturbations that will make breathing somewhat...unpleasant.
