Ian was guest on 'the laatste show' on 21october (on belgium's main national flemish tv channel).
He sang with the tvshow's own backing band.

And BTW the Bunnymen are playing Sinner's Day festival this sunday in Hasselt (i'm going there)
They're not only playing there, they're headlining this festival.lazarus wrote:And BTW the Bunnymen are playing Sinner's Day festival this sunday in Hasselt (i'm going there)

Others to see are Red Lorry Yellow Lorry, Department S, UK Subs, Jah Wobble, Markey Ramone, Heaven 17, The Fall, Marc Almond, Selecter, Nina Hagen and the Psychedelic Furs.
I'll be there too.

Yeah, sure I want a medal, a medal for originality. A big shiny golden one with waffles to the side. Lazarus gets a silver one for putting me out of my misery over my earlier question, that I must add resulted in many a sleepless night as my mind went through the appearance of those backing band members over and over again especially the one that looked like an older Will but with a goatee, and also mentioning for the first time the Sinner's Day festival this sunday in Hasselt.
I expect the medal asap.
Same players 8 years earlier performing Sweet Jane: the ghost of guitarplayer wrote:Gawd, it's that geriatric backing band again. Nobody answered my question about them when I posted three days after it was on Belgian TV. So it was the TV show's own, fresh out for the day from the local Flemish nursing home. Still, glad to see it's a popular clip that warrants a second posting.
