Unfortunately there have been too many of those.
I long for the pork of Porcupine. (A slide show dedicated mostly to Will right here.... http://www.examiner.com/rock-music-in-l ... -here-tour)

Indeed, it is. Pretty obvious that that would be the next single. Out on 6 December in time for Christmas. I didn't catch BBC Breakfast this morning, Nicky Manic was supposed to be on there with a snippet of the video played.

I hate the song, but I can quite imagine Mac at Bunnymen HQ now smoking a big cigar and rubbing his hands with glee at singing on a single by another artist without having to peddle out another "it's what the kids want" song under the Bunnymen name. I reckon it'll go top ten (shit, hang on wasn't that forecast by somebody else for Think I Need it Too). Wouldn't it be absurd if it ended up as Christmas no1? Pity Paul the octopus is dead, he would know.

Perhaps it was his final premonition, the point at which he decided he could take no more and slashed his eight wrists to free himself of his 'gift'.

Unlikely. He had a premonition about The Fountain, yet survived the ordeal. This time round it is just one song.

Thanks for the info. Haven't heard it yet. Perhaps it's not cool in these waters but I've always liked the Manic Street Preachers. Echo & the Bunnymen and Ian McCulloch continue to be a massive influence on older bands and the more recent. Can't wait to see Mac at the Royal Albert Hall on the 15th of November. Mac and The Coral at the RAH, my cup spilleth...

Excellent defensive driving Dave. You probably saved a life.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

Quite a day there Dave. Wolves beating Man City, driving round Birmingham of all places, Mac's daughter half-dressed on a giant poster, near car crash...

I need to see the poster. All I can find are pics of her 21st birthday and some old modeling shots

To quote her old man,I think Id see if 'No Hands' was on the cards with her!

Ghostie-great win against Man City's petulent 'superstars'.Have to say Mancini helps by not playing Johnson and subbing Adebayor.Nice scarf set as well nicked from his nan.

Got that news straight off the Manics site on Sunday, but obviously The Guardian was slower than they expected to put it up. Oh well, here goes.....

Bit boring, matches the song.... Mac's hoodie has a star role.

No sign of Anna Friel. I feel cheated, dirty and abused.
