If you do a Google search for "Bunnymen forum" the first and second result is the old official forum which does not redirect to the new site or mention the new forum.
The third result is this forum. Fourth is the main VT site and in fifth we have the official forum, well sort of. It is the rules for the official forum, which is down.

It probably hasn't gone kaput, never to return again. But I do wish if there was something technical going behind the scenes they'd put up a temporary page explaining that. It doesn't look very good when websites do that (besides search engines might find it and think that it no longer exists!).

Maybe they are having to make cutbacks due to the financial crisis. With the twitter and the myspace they have all they really need. The benefits of a website are a bit intangible really, even if ots what the kids want. especially when all your made up forum members start bitching just like those other folks.
