First editons

How do you now if you have a first edition Pressing?

Are these the ones with the cardboard inner sleeves and pink and green lable.

Some like HUH have textured sleeves some are shiny

Some have a different play order and the names on the record label are slighty different.

Eg Album Cover = The Desease- Record Lable = My llifes the Disease

For the bunnymen geek it can really be quite a minefield

Correction - a Bunnymen Geek would already know the answers to the questions you ask.

I know what you mean. A while ago I wanted to get the first edition of their first 45 single “Pictures on my Wall” just for the sake of it and even that was very confusing and hard to sort out. I think I have one of the 4000 originals now, but who knows. Luckily I didn’t pay much for it.

I bought one of these off of Ebay for $12 with "Voodoo Billy" inscribed on it. This is what I frisbeed on stage during the Bunnymen's performance at the August 2009 All Points West Music Festival. It was defitinately noticed by Ian because if you listen to the soundboard recording for the show, after Seven Seas he exclaims "What the fuck's that?" The second one I have is just collecting dust on the shelf.
