I felt like I was watching a Lassie episode. The boy and the Loch Ness monster knew everything each other was sayingplus the boy could ride on the monster's back underwater for incredible amounts of time!

Well again here I have to cite hard evidence. I would think an ape creature of that size like Bigfoot would have left poop or hair or a dead body by now especially with all the people who look for it.
The Loch Ness Monster of course is in the water so that is much harder to prove and collect evidence. It is a murky water prone to foggy situations and very deep. Seems ripe for optical illusions. I guess unless we find a skeleton, or a clear photo at the very least, we will never really know.

I mean they were right there in the general locale. No hair, blood, feces or artifact has ever been produced. Like a great book said "Everybody Poops".
In 1967 when that famous film of Bigfoot was made, several movies and TV shows were being or had been made that used ape suits, 2001, Star Trek and let's see...ummm, Planet of The Apes! It has actually been alleged that the makers of the Bigfoot film were at least acquaintances with the designer of the suits used in the Apes films. That allegation came from the Apes director John Landis himself. Planet of the Apes began filming in May 1967, the Patterson film was allegedly made in October 1967 generating a lot of media attention upon its release a short time after, and then Apes was released in February 1968. I've wondered if this was done to help generate publicity for the Planet of the Apes film
