Scientifically questionable face cream?

And if it did actually work, I think the results would be horrendous. Are women really so unscientific as to believe a glorified lump of lard can bring their youth back? Are they so verbally biased that they fall for mere rhetoric, not having a visual-spacial model of the real world and it's physics? Perhaps nature has designed them this way, to be up there with the fairies in a Mills & Boon world of romantic stories-that way they can't visualise the physical ugliness of most men or the visceral risks of the reproductive process they must endure?

I don't know if I see a difference in the before and after pictures. Nor do I care.

NSFW big time.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

I was just telling my mom that they tell you all these crazy things at the makeup counter to make it seem like they are really smart but truly it's all a pack of lies. She thought I was just being negative. But quite frankly, I've been sticking contacts in my eyes for years, so what difference would it make if I only used outward motion with my pinky, or inward motion with my ring finger to apply that shit? That being said, a little moisturizer helps, and so does some cleansing. But it really made me laugh my ass off when Mac said all he ever used in his 20s was soap and water. He looked pretty fabulous. But then, everyone looks fabulous in their 20s. Oh well.

Soap and water was about all you could use back then. I guess (as I wasn't in my twenties in the 1980s) a bit of Old Spice splashed on for the evening. They were the days - when blokes were blokes and girls were girls with their own stuff. Coming from that old school washing, as I am sure many others are, I use nothing more than shower gel and water now. Men using face moisturiser, a recent phenomena and all a bit gay really.

Actually there is only one way to stay young looking, and that is stay out of the sun or apply tons of sunblock when you do go out in it. All the rest is rubbish, except there is some cream meant to actually reinforce the collagen or peel the skin, but even there the effect is temporary. Once the ultra-violet rays have damaged the DNA there is not much that can be done.
Just for the record, I do not use face cream or look for it on the net-I was looking for something completely different. I have done the "no sun" thing as a long term scientific experiment, eating plenty of fish to make up the vitamin D, and it seems to have worked, though a lot of ageing is down to genetics.
As for face creams for males, it's not a bit gay if you've got (or had) something to lose like Mac, but the point is they don't work. Giving up smoking does work if its done in time-this is as damaging as sun exposure, perhaps more so(?) and has also been implicated in baldness due to circulation damage, unless this is a myth(?) I know a girl singer as pretty and talented as Mac was, and since she is a redhead I am going to warn her about the sun-redheads are some of the most beautiful women, they might even have the edge on blonds, but the ultraviolet eventually has about the same effect on them as on a vampire.

I tried contacts, but I just can't get the damm things in or out, short of hiring the opticians assistant as an escort. I used to wind up Mac over the sunglasses thing until I got short-sighted and now I'm thinking about prescription sunglasses myself.

I've always wondered why he didn't just get contacts. I think the Mac's legally blind or something. Actually I just answered my own question...back in the 80s the only option for people with really horrid vision due to astigmatism was hard contacts. I had them for awhile and they were very uncomfortable and difficult to get used to. I ended up with a corneal ulcer at one time. Ouch. Now there are lots of options even if you have astigmatism.

Some guys just go for the glasses thing with pride, though I can't see that working with Mac's early look. Morrissey rocked it. Now, who cares!! We know he's all old.

Considering the ads on the page that was posted, I'm convinced. Oh, wait that was BF. Oops.

Well, moisturizer does help a little, but only on the surface. You're right that it doesn't actually stop the aging process. I live in California and people here are obsessed with the sun. Me, I'll stay pale. Martin Gore loves to go running and play footie in the sun in Santa Barbara. He's not looking so great lately.

I think we never should have stopped wearing hats. But I guess people found it annoying or something. Does anyone suppose they'll come back in fashion?

That's it, I'm going red again. I've always found ginger hair to be very attractive. My first boyfriend was a redhead.

As it happens I was not looking for a porno site, I was looking for the myspace (assuming she had one) of a beautiful girl I had a platonic friendship with called Tina Rydzynski (Mac took quite a fancy to her at a gig) and I was going to mail her two tickets for a Rozi Plain concert to make up for Mac's rubbish performance on the "What am I going to do with my sore throat tour" -since she is probably someones trophy wife by now, I was going to send her two tickets. However, this rather odd site with it's outrageous claims came up. The idea that steam is good for the skin was particularly hilarious, unless they were thinking of some sort of skin peel.
But third degree burns are a bit too much of an extreme body modification for most people. One other thing-this whole idea of NSFW (not safe for work)-yet another form of insidious unwritten thought-crime law? Not safe for keeping your breakfast down maybe!

Hey there are plenty of glorified lumps of lard about who reckon that a young woman can bring their youth back.

Careful. Spooky might be lurking, and you might offend her.
