Realistically it will be January or February next year. It is almost ready bar the mix and these dates will fit with the Occultation release schedules.

Performing on the album are Les and Will, Ricky Maymi (BJM), Mike Mooney, Henry Priestman, Ged Quinn, Steve Beswick, Richard Turvey and Candie Payne. Steve Beswick coincidentally was in The Heart Throbs with Pete de Frietas's sister.

A couple of gigs are planned for late November and I'll post dates as soon as they are finalised.

Paul Simpson also plans to release a spoken word album before the end of this year based on a piece that will be performed on Roger Hill's radio Merseyside show.

Perhaps The Wild Swans should be re-named "The Mac & his ego Escape Club?"

With a line-up like that I'm sure it will be well worth waiting for.

Check this out.

A couple of tracks from the new album. Likely the opening two. Not the final mixes but an idea

Falling to Bits sounds like a Richard Butler song. Maybe Heartbreak Beat?

This is shaping up to be quite an album.

Gotta say, Paul Simpson's voice has held up well over the years... unlike some other vocalists out there of the same vintage.
