I had forgotten Red used to like us here. And has Epsilon posted since 2007?
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

But to answer your question killing Hitler goes somewhere like 6th or 7th on my list sometime after killing Yoko Ono.

why's that then? She's doing a grand job administering her dead husband's millions, not to mention those wacky records she brings out now and again, the style warrior fashion trendsetting for pensioners wearing full face wrap around shades and all that banging on about peace and stuff. So she's a hippy who married a load of money, and to paraphrase dylan, when he died it came to her, she cant help it if she's lucky.

Also, apparently they are putting his recordings in a time capsule

http://www.nme.com/news/john-lennon/52282

what with the internet and all, not to mention the rife pilfering of everything that has been recorded ultimately ending up on just about everybodies hard drive, would anybody even bother with this I dont know. You'd think that if there was a nuclear attack or swine flu mutated into some post-aids ebola like hybrid, theres a fairly good chance the survivors, whilst looting, would come across the odd lennon recording or two. Actually thats the closing scene to my new apocalyptic film (thats a movie to you american folks). the survivors, just befor they realise attempt at procreation is impossible because their genitals have fallen off and the nearest in vitro fertilisation unit is 200 miles away and guarded by a tribe of post apocalyptic baboon mutants (that'll be the sequel being set up) they'll find this black plastic thing, an old man realises what it is and winds up an old gramophone and through the crackles cm,oe the words, imagine theres no heaven**......, aw fuck me I'm in the wrong job here.

BBC4 has been having abit of a lennonfest recently. I watched the christopher eccleston starring biopic the other week. Not that it showed him as a saint of course, but in these things they always portray macca as a complete numbskull. When one imagines, the opposite is true.

Chez.

** though when the directors cut is released on blu-ray, live scenes shot by one dr evil, the music is actually, ... and so this is chritmas....

I think some Labour M.P. said he'd go back and kill Thatcher. I voted for the bitch because of Scargill, and she turned Britain into a neo-liberal de-industrialised wasteland run by overpaid spivs who eventually bankrupted the nation.

I would not go back in time to kill Hitler.

Were it not for him, the Jewish population in the US would not be as large, thus:

- No Weinsteins to fund Kevin Smith movies
- No good delis
- No Chinese restaurants open on Christmas

Hang on, I thought the majority of American Jews predated the rise of fascism in Europe. So it wouldn't make one difference travelling back in time and killing Herr Hitler. If you did, you'd probably have had Goebbels, Goering or more likely Himmler becoming the top bod. Then you wouldn't have had Hitler's idiotic control of the later stages of the war, leaving Nazi Germany's campaigns in the Soviet Union and following D-day directly in the hands of the German military. Who knows what would have happened then. Over here, we'd all be speaking German. Now please stand for the national anthem.

Yoko Ono should certainly be "dealt with" during anybody's planned time travels. John Lennon clearly was a confused man if he thought that creature represented the pinnacle of Japanese beauty. He needed help.

i see BF.I can see that even her sterling work in the world of fashionable elderly eye wear couldn't tip the balance in her favour for that.

Do you think his web design skills have been noted and, the award winning site having become his portfolio he has now moved on from telling unfortunate punters that 'it works here mate, have you tried switching it off and back on again'. And we dont need dr evil to start the conspiracy theories - still working with will eh? has he fallen foul of the macster? is this a sign of a further rift in the bunnycamp. oo er. Its interesting that its so quiet in bunnymenland that we end up discussing the resignation of the webmaster.

and GP, i believe mai pang (not to mention cynthia) was much more of a looker, and also allowed him out to have a few beers with his mates too - if he'd have done more of that he might still be with us, or at least wouldn't have written all those god awful songs on double fantasy. But love is blind as they say, and who are we to judge. Not sure about deeply troubled - though the films would have us believe that - oh and all those songs about his mum abandoning him, er, and his dad too, but putting those aside for a moment - pretty much up his own arse alot of the time. Hugely overrated as a solo artist.

May Pang had a bit more of the "Hey GI Joe you want BJ for five dollars... five dollars?" look about her don't you think.

However when McCartney wanted to switch the credits on certain songs to McCartney/Lennon I was on Team Yoko.
