Well at least they brought this shirt back. I had it in black and white but the red looks cool too.

I suppose Peter Allen will still be making an appearance on BOF from time to time. So we can look forward to his typos.

I can't believe the band would shell out any money to have the website run, so maybe Devlin Love is being put to work.... Baby Daisy Mae is around six months old and there's no sign that Mama is returning to Alabama 3 anytime soon.

When you hear the Mel Gibson tapes, does anybody picture Ian treating Devlin Rose the same way???? I do. Especially the one about being bl*wn in the jacuzzi. Though I doubt Ian has a jacuzzi.

Yes I did. Thanks. But as soon as I unwrapped the airmail parcel, carefully removed the wrapping paper and took the camera out of its box, I got pissed off seeing that bloody cover of The Fountrain again. So I gave it to one of my chinese workers. She's probably now making a few yuan out of it making amateur porn videos to entertain businessmen and government officials in Beijing. She was into that kind of stuff. Wonder if she is using the crotchless knickers still like she used to for me. Happy times.

I heard this music as you were recounting that story:

All they gotta do is offer Mr. Brian the job. He'd sell us out in a heartbeat for free. He's been actively plotting to oust Peter since the creation of this forum. VT forum is nothing more than a resume to him.

Like how I studied at the Sarbonne so I could get that job at McDonald's.

They need to re-issue that shirt of the photo from the insert of Crocodiles of the band jamming. By far the coolest Bunnymen shirt I've seen.

The BOF is beyond redemption now, no matter who runs it. Anyone with an ounce of cool feels ashamed of even a quick peek at this degenerate monstrosity.
If the BOF were a person, it would be BrundleFly.

i think theres a pretty strong case not to have an official forum. solves all the issues. also makes you look like a proper pop star who doesn't interact with the fans lest they be tainted - or keep questioning your every move, lik ethey'd know what to do..

You can usually get that on ebay. I like the Bunny God t.

But really, I can't believe Peter Allen quit. To many Peters? Finally decided not to be a penguin any more?

Miss Devlin stepping in cause she needs a job?

Frankly it's getting hard to care when there actually are some very interesting bands coming out lately.

Which one is it, Moss or Jen? I think Jen would be a poor choice, worse than Peter Allen. She is supposed to think that IT stands for "Internet Thingy" yet heads up an IT department.

I agree. BOF is dead and has been for a while. Posting on there had become like treading on egg shells and Allen had done enough to irritate and offend most of the regular posters who'd been on there before he took over. There wasn't any interaction with the band, it was just with him and a handful of blinded fans with Peter thinking he was the official mouthpiece for the band and sometimes making a complete gaff of it. There are ways you can still pull in those enthusiastic newbies like running parts of the site like a blog (news for example) and allowing people to post comments underneath if they really want to. I'd like to see BOF finally put out of its misery. It's not humane keeping the little nipper alive anymore.

Agreed. Put it out of it's misery. At least here people can speak somewhat freely. Mimi McCulloch could probably run it, though, with no problems. It might be traumatizing for her, though. Perhaps she should run their twitter page.

Funny, the McCullochs make the news in Liverpool a bit, right? Martin Gore moved out here to Santa Barbara and has ended up in the society pages only when his oldest daughter had her 16th birthday party which was neither excessive or huge but tasteful. For the most part, seems we don't care all that much as there are much bigger celebs to chase.

Perhaps if Mimi ran the BOF and heard the truth during censorship duties, she might be able to emotionally blackmail her dad into giving up smoking and possibly regaining his superpowers?
