The word 'legend' is all to often used in sporting circles these days but it seems that we have just lost a genuine one.

yep. snooker's very dull these days - especially when steve davis is considered to be a bit of a character (apart from o'sullivan and jimmy white obviously). horrible way to go too. top bloke.
