Big Jesus statue struck by lightning, burns to the ground

Tired of discussing the Bunnymen and all the bands that have been influenced by them? This is the place for you.

It had something to do with a cholera epidemic years ago and I forgot the story so I looked it up on Wiki:

Mount Healthy was founded in 1817 as the village of Mount Pleasant. In 1850, the town renamed itself "Mount Healthy", following a cholera epidemic, in which many of its citizens survived. The town was incorporated as a city in 1951.

I bought Jager for the house band at Hofbrauhaus, once apon a time. twas a good night!

We also like to go to the Southgate House to watch local bands. The place reminds me of an old haunt in Detroit.

Southgate House is a hidden treasure! Great place. It was built in 1812. The inventor of the tommygun was born there and several US Presidents stayed there.

BURNING MAN! Too bad no one was invited to that impromptu lightening-initiated fest. Woulda been cool with some Christian bands playing.

Faith Plus One playing would have been awesome.

With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

I need you in my life, Jesus.
I can't live without you, Jesus
And I just want to feel you deep inside me, Jesus.

Don't ever leave me, Jesus. I couldn't stand to see you go.
My heart would simply snap, my Lord, if you walked on out that door.
I promise I'll be good to you, and keep you warm at night.
Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, why don't we just... shut off the lights.

I want to walk hand-in-hand with Jesus on a private beach for two.
I want him to nibble on my ear and say "I'm here for you".

Yes I may be born again, but I was wasn't born again yesterday.
I wanna get down on my knees and start pleasing Jesus!
I wanna feel his salvation all over my face!

I hope you'll be very happy together.
