best career?

Tired of discussing the Bunnymen and all the bands that have been influenced by them? This is the place for you.

best career?

I think its time I got a proper career. Any suggestions? I've been slumming it in minimum wage jobs to pursue my dreams, but with the class system in the UK my ego demands that I better myself. Plumber, cameraman/editor and electrician come to mind-unlike IT it can't be outsourced.

Problem with the UK (and it's probably the same in the States, but done on a much bigger cost scale), is that you'll need probably to pay out for some kind of educational training. Would you go to college if it was required?

sparkies & plumbers always seem to have the best cars in their garages when they get home from the building site but as GP says, training and accredition. Still a couple of years training anfd blagging your way through old ladies doors and you'll be fine. Same with IT really I suppose, though without the old ladies, but the bottom's kind of fallen out of the contract market.

Depends how you mean 'better yourself' turning up at Ascot in your Dr Evil's PLumbing Services (pipes for the peers) transit wont necessarily get you int the royal emclosure. But then when you look over your estate from the terrace of your renovated geogian mansion (using only the finest materials filched from any number of local authority jobs) will you regret hanging your camera up? Or will you sigh, satisfied, as a vietnamese refugee, grateful for the chance to learn english, massages your shoulders, and think, thank fuck for that idea?

I changed my career in a major way about 12 years ago. Time for another I say. But what? Not a careers adviser I suppose.

That's what someone needs to come up with - a toilet with remote assistance capabilities.

How does that work then? Some robotic arm comes out, unzips your trousers and holds your old codger while you are having a pee. Surely it'd be better to use that technology for some kind of masturbation/robotic sex tool thing?

Can those nipple tweakers also double as ball ticklers?
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

Double post due to some sort of web error. But the delete button seems to be on top of the ignore button.

With age discrimination, elderly is seen as anyone over 35.
