Just watched the Brighton Komedia clip, quality. The kids will love it when they get home from school.

Hi, I'm new on here and don't expect to say much - very often, or very intelligible either but I did go to St George's Hall, Tunbridge Wells and Brighton and enjoyed all three gigs very much.

I'm the guy who Mac "introduced" with a pointed finger, and was sat right in front of him at Brighton - I froze and crapped myself as I thought he was going to have a go at me and my big effoff camera I was about to stick in his face (or he had spotted my secret audio recorder!).

Needless to say the many comments on here have all added to what really happened... but I don't believe Mac was too pissed at all - he'd had a few obviously. He was provoked big time in my opinion. His management were the real catalyst for what happened at the end of the show and unless I'm mistaken or too blown away by those songs to remember, there was NO plant at Tunbridge Wells the night before so the "repeat" conspiracy theory I find very hard to believe. Compared to TB Wells, I thought more songs were completed at Brighton and apart from the negativity introduced by others in the “audience” at Brighton, it flowed much better – I’m just sorry I didn’t make it to Glasgow for the icing on the cake!

It has been said already and yes, it was an evening with Mac - as advertised, although his promoter on this occasion for TB Wells and Brighton could have made less of the "..will perform songs from his solo album along with classic Bunnymen tracks" or rather, made it much clearer that it was to have added Mac banter - much the way St George's advertised it for those who chose to read the script.

Anyway and regardless of that, for those who went and who know the crack, and have expectations based on experience of Mac on his tod, I believe, got just that. I did, and I very much enjoyed 99% of each of the shows and wouldn’t hesitate if I had the chance to go again and see this musical genius perform.

I for one don’t give a ha’ penny **it if he doesn’t come across as the rounded PC character we are all expected to be these days – he is a bloody fantastic musician and his character traits are sometimes perhaps a little too amplified but he is still a living legend.

Not sure if this will work, but here are some of my pics from St Georges Hall and Brighton which I have posted on Flickr

Just my opinions – Cheers, and I’m sorry if my views have offended anyone.

Nice pics. Thanks

Mr. Brian, please delete st185cs' account. I find myself to be outraged, offended, aroused and titillated by their views.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

I know. And I like how they say "sorry" like that fixes everything. "Too late, damage done" is my response to that.

What's this about a recording device? Why not post the entire show, the best of the lot you attended, and let us judge his performance firsthand?
