My new hero

Tired of discussing the Bunnymen and all the bands that have been influenced by them? This is the place for you.

Dr. Evil and GoGP I agree the actual killing of Bin Laden would change very little but just the idea of this guy (crazy as he may be) hopping on a plane, heading to Pakistan and searching for Bin Laden with a ninja sword, pistol, night vision goggles and some hash brings a smile to my face. He's like the Bunnymen of vigilantes. Probably no chance of finding and killing Bin Laden but that's not the point. It's the struggle, the effort, the belief that he could. I love it.

Reminds me of Maurice Wilson. The Englishman who defied British authorities and all odds to fly to India, sneak into Tibet and then try to climb Everest alone. Sure it was crazy, sure he died in the attempt but I still think he's awesome for trying. 22,700 feet on Everest is no joke. Even in death Wilson is unbeatable. The glacier keeps churning up his bones every few years.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

A new news story said he had plastic handcuffs and that he was instructed by God to do this. He did plan this, talked about it a lot, learned some language and had a job as a police guard or something there. He didn't just get off a plane and walk into the mountains like John Wayne or something.

All I'm saying is this guy attempted the impossible and I like it! And even if he did some preparation he still went in there like John Wayne.

Steve McQueen also approves of this guy. He told me himself.

The man is a modern Don Quixote. Actually Bin Laden runs a chip shop in Birmingham, and after the Americans tried to extradite Gary McKinnon I decided not to grass him up just to spite the US government. Mind you, that reward money...

John Wayne would've rode into the mountains on a horse.

Dumbass.
