General discussion about the band, live shows, its recordings or bootlegs, etc. You can buy, sell or trade here. You can even post eBay links. If it's about the Bunnymen, it goes here.

Now you all know why I was hoping to meet DD77 at Coachella!

SONY Cybershot DSC-W370. To be honest, I'm still looking for something better out there that's just a point and shoot. The images don't seem to be as sharp as I took initially, wondering if the image stabilization feature craps out early. Or maybe its the jumping to the music and tequila. Any suggestions you all may have on good low light cameras would be welcome.

Don't listen to him. Some of us here appreciate public displays of affection.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

I'm one of those who still find EATB to be TOP NOTCH, I think Mac is still HOT, his voice more sexy than ever, and I actually like The Fountain album...all of it...yes, even Life of 1000 Crimes!! ;)

If satan is seen ice skating hell, or you happen to glance out ur window and see some flying pigs, then maybe, just maybe I've changed my mind!! :~) So there will always be me...never slagging this band!

ETA: I know Dr. Evil must cringe everytime he reads my siggy line too, but I think "Burn For Me" is one of the sexiest songs every written!!! *ducking*

Burn for Me is not that bad, but is but a pale reflection of Ocean Rain. If they had not already written that song I might even have been impressed. The difference is, Burn for Me somehow tilts over into sticky sentimentality at times, a bit like gorging on cream cakes and feeling bad afterwards, whereas the song Ocean Rain seems a totally honest, pure work of genius.

That was very well put, and I actually totally agree with you! LOVE the cream cake analogy!! I probably like Burn For Me so much cuz I, myself, tilt over into sticky sentimentality at times, and have a disturbingly huge threshold for gorging on cream cakes before feeling guilt ridden and physically ill! LMAO!!!

I quite like Burn For Me, despite being a non-fan of Mac's post-1997 obsession with slowies. Forgiven is another one.

I take it BethieB327 by your writing style that you are a lady, and a youngish one at that?

hahahahaha...funny you mention Forgiven, cuz I was gonna quote lyrics from that in Dr. Evil's other post!

Hey....I'm no lady! LMAO....I am of the female persuassion tho! I'll take "youngish" for sure regarding my age, although I suppose that's relative! I do wonder, however, if using the term youngish as it relates to my writing style is a nice way of saying "immature" LOL....I jest!! Age wise, I'm about 6 years Mac's junior.
