I finished editing/blogging earlier than anticipated, mostly because I just want to put it behind me. I must apologize for having essentially messed up the recording of a near perfect show, my enjoyment of the evening being evident throughout in the form of out of tune singing. Like I said, for me it is a battle between acting like a mic stand and catching the performance, or simply living the phenomanal experience. On Sunday night I went for the experience. The collecting bug within me will need to wait for another day.

I did not provide you all with the whole show for reasons noted above. But what I did do was make mp3s of Crocodiles, Heads Will Roll and Nothing Lasts Forever/The Fountain/Wild Side. I hope it gives you a sense of the wonderful performance we all heard that night.

AWESOME...AWESOME...AWESOME!!! Brings back the BEST memories!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE the Nothing Lasts Forever/The Fountain/Wild Side track.

Don't feel badly for singing...I can hear myself singing on there too, especially at the end of The Fountain, and then I heard myself apologize to the girl in front of me LOL!!! I also heard myself laughing when he did the funny voice during Wild Side!

Thanks so much for this....I shall treasure it :) Your photos are magnificent too....WOW! Love all the bridge photos!

hahahaha....I'm new here, but I've read A LOT of the posts, so I know what you are talking about!! I'm one of those who still find EATB to be TOP NOTCH, I think Mac is still HOT, his voice more sexy than ever, and I actually like The Fountain album...all of it...yes, even Life of 1000 Crimes!! ;)

If satan is seen ice skating hell, or you happen to glance out ur window and see some flying pigs, then maybe, just maybe I've changed my mind!! :~) So there will always be me...never slagging this band! :lol:

ETA: I know Dr. Evil must cringe everytime he reads my siggy line too, but I think "Burn For Me" is one of the sexiest songs every written!!! *ducking*

Hey now - don't put me in the corner. I still think The Fountain is one of the shittiest records in the history of music and Mac's voice is on its last vocal cords -

I am just happy that some still feel the way I did a long time ago.
