From a Coachella review...

With such a tightly-packed schedule of hot acts, conflicts sometimes arise — I skipped out on LCD Soundsystem to catch Echo & the Bunnymen after a friend persuaded, "Ian McCulloch could die any day now! I mean, look at him."

Um, seriously, they use Vampire Weekend pics from LAST YEAR. Great journalism.

LCD Soundsystem didn't compete that much with the Bunnymen. Whatever.

Give the author of that article a break, he is aged 15 and hopes to be a music journalist when he grows up. His friend is 14. 51 to him is very very old.

Perhaps the whole wasted rock star thing is an act to get everyone to go to his shows before its too late, when in reality he'll out-last most of us.
