I bet you Take On Me sounds atrocious live circa 2010.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

Mimes re-enact the video though. It's pretty sweet.

Well circa 2009. Sounds like the original, even the synths. Not a rasp in sight. Amazing what age can't do if you can be bothered to look after your voice. They don't look like a bunch of bricklayers either. Look, even the "kids" are dancing. I'm following the wrong band here. Fuck em, I'm off to buy tickets for the A-ha Hunting High & Low/Scoundrel Days in its full entirety "Masterclass in Norwegian synth pop" tour right now.

What does that ear piece do? I know Mac used to wear one.

I'd need ear plugs to listen to that shower.

Wow! Either the singer's had a face-lift or found the fountain of youth ... he still looks great ... and his voice. Still hitting those high notes. Maybe they were lip synching. Didn't I see that blond guy in the Der Kommissar video?

Ghostie ... better get your tix fast ... this is their farewell tour ... at least that's how it's being sold in the U.S. They just added a second date in L.A. Who knew a) they were still together and b) they still had so many fans? And young ones to boot.

Seriously?

In ear monitor so the singer can hear voice in relation to the music. You know, so the singer is in key.

Ignore withahip. It's a hearing aid. That's a common problem when you reach past 50 as I'm sure a few of you on here are well aware. He needs it so he can hear. If not touring, Morten would probably be happier sitting at home with a cup of the Norwegian equivalent of horlicks watching "Cocoon" on DVD, if he could work out how to get the damn thing to play.

Oh my god we are comparing a-ha to the Bunnymen now. I may have to consider boarding this place up.

Shut this place down. Reopen it as Manhattanskyline.com Welcome to The A-ha Underground. I want to talk about the latest A-ha album, which is the greatest one since the last one, but the title escapes me.

It's spelled "a-ha". No CAP.

Thanks. If Manhattanskyline.com is going to be the quality forum that VT is then we need to start off correctly to gain credibility.

Must be nice to live in a world where just saying "sorry" makes it all right.
